A small-scale jatropha oil processing plant installed in Colombia. We design, manufacture, install and export different capacities of Jatropha Seed Oil Extraction Plant as per customer requirements on Turnkey Basis.

Some of Basic Jatropha Oil Processing Machinery & equipment are used such as Seed Cleaner, Decorticator, Seed cooker, Screw Press, Filter Press, Oil settling tank, Elevators, and Conveyors, etc.

Jatropha Seed Cleaning & Decortication

Firstly the raw materials are sent to seed cleaner by elevator or manual to remove impurities, cleaned seed are further sent to the decorticator by screw conveyor to remove the shell, the seeds and shells of the jatropha falls into the conveyer from the semi-circular mesh, in a downward direction. The Cleaned Decorticated Seeds will be distributed to a set of oil presses.

Jatropha Seed Oil Extraction

The commonly used extraction methods include the use of mechanical pressing. Among the different oil presses that are used for jatropha oil extraction, the most commonly used presses include GOYUM Oil Presses. The GOYUM oil press involves the modern pressing method to extract oil and prepares oil cakes.

Filtration

Once extracted using jatropha oil extraction equipment, extracted jatropha oil is filtered to remove any impurities and contaminants from the extraction process.
