Groundnut Oil Mill Plant Process
Groundnuts are also known as Peanut or Earthnut. The oil content in the peanuts is between 35% and 45% depending on the variety. Groundnut oil extraction involves several processes including groundnut decortication, cleaning, seed conditioning, crushing and filtration.
Groundnut Decorticator
It removes the shells of Groundnut pods by using the principle of friction and pressure. .
Crate bars are made from high grade casting and they can be adjusted as per grade size of input material to make sure that output of groundnut pods is maximum and breakage is minimum.
Seed Cleaner
Seed Cleaner are used for cleaning unwanted items such as trash, sand, metals from the groundnut kernels.
We provide both Rotary & Multi-deck vibrating type Seed Cleaner complete with Aspiration System and dust collection box.
Oil Expeller With Cooking Kettle
Groundnut Kernels obtained after the Decortication process can be used as a raw material for Groundnut Oil Extraction Plant.
Groundnut Kernels contain 40 – 45 % oil content. After a double stage pressing, about 5 – 7 % residual oil is left in the Groundnut meal which is an excellent source of Animal Feed.
The Groundnut kernels are conditioned using Steam in a Vertical Cooking Kettle.
The conditioned Groundnut Kernels are forcefully pushed through the chamber by the action of the rotating screws. As the Groundnut kernels move towards the discharge end, the screw pitch reduces thereby causing compression. Due to this increased Pressure, the oil is squeezed out from the Groundnut kernels and expelled out through the gaps in the chamber.
Steam Boiler
Boiler is used for generating steam by applying the heat energy to water. The steam in the boiler supplies using a pipeline which is directly connected to the Cooking Kettle for Conditioning.
We provide both Vertical & Horizontal Multi Tubular Shell Type Smoke Tube Boilers. The main components of this boiler mainly include coal, shells, husks, wood or other agricultural waste, Furnace Oil, Diesel, Gas, etc.
Boiler will be supplied complete with Air Pre-heater, Air & Flue Gas Ducting, Refractory and Insulation, I.D. Fan, F.D Fan, Feed Water Pump, Level Gauges, Safety Valves, Rotary Airlock Valves, Chimney etc.
Filter Press With Pump
The crude oil obtained by pressing consists of suspended solids (foots). A Filter press is used to separate these suspended solids from crude oil.
We Offer Plate type / Plate & Frame type Filter Presses. The plates are made from Cast Iron, Stainless Steel or Polypropylene material. This is designed by skilled labour in an advanced infrastructure unit using high-grade materials and modern technologies with proper inspection and supervision ensure carefree operation and long life for these Filters.
Bucket Elevator
Bucket elevator is used for the vertical transport of groundnut kernels between the Oil Mill Equipment. It is part of automatic plant setup which helps in the material handling. It reduces considerable manpower.
We offer a well designed Chain & Belt Type Bucket Elevator manufactured with MS or SS Material.
Screw Conveyor
Screw conveyor can be used up and down for conveying material, to and from machine to elevator or vice versa.
Screw conveyor, MS or SS construction, U-trough type casing with top cover, screw flight welded to pipe and with necessary shaft, hanger bearings etc. complete with drive and all necessary accessories.
Control Panel
Dust vermin proof control panel fabricated from M.S. sheet provided complete with individual components for each motor mentioned in the offer with relays, contactors, fuses, On/Off Switches, Indicators and Hour Counting Meter for Expeller etc.
