Cotton Seed Oil Manufacturing Plant Process

Cleaning
First, need to remove inorganic impurities (metals, dust silt or pebbles), oil impurities (asymmetry seeds, grain of impurities, grain of insects, etc.) and clean organic impurities (rope, stems, hull and leaves).
Oil Extraction
We only use the latest technology to ensure that we get the highest oil returns; the pre-pressing and solvent extraction process to obtain more oil. This practice is quite common in commercial cottonseed oil production, to try to increase the yield overall.
Oil Filtration
In Neutralizer, the oil is treated with weak solution of phosphoric acid or other suitable degumming agent followed by Caustic Soda. The oil is heated by steam heating coils and stirred continuously by agitator. The Chemical reaction results the formation of a heavy phase referred to as Soap Stock. This generated Soap Stock is allowed to settle down in the Neutralizer from where it is collected in to the Soap Pans. The neutralized oil is washed with hot water to remove the traces of Soap Particles and free Alkali.
