Cold Press Mustard Seed Oil Mill Plant Process
Mustard seeds contain 38% – 40% of oil content. A Cold Press Mustard Oil Mill Plant involves the following steps: Seed Cleaning, Oil Pressing, Oil Filtration and Oil Filling.
Seed Cleaner
Cleaning of mustard seed is the first process of the oil mill plant. Seed Cleaner is used to remove extraneous material like stones, mud, leaves, etc. GOYUM seed cleaning machine ensures that no foreign material should be fed into the oil mill equipment.
We provide both Rotary & Multi-deck vibrating type Seed Cleaner complete with Aspiration System and dust collection box.
Oil Expeller / Oil Press
The cleaned mustard seeds are fed in the kettle of the oil expeller machine to squeeze out oil from it. Mustard seed contains 40 – 45 % oil content.
To extract the maximum oil from mustard seeds it requires 4 stages of pressing. After a 4 stage pressing, about 6.5 – 7% oil is still present in the oiled cake which will be used as animal feed.
The working principle of mustard seed oil extraction machines is to vigorously push mustard seeds through the chamber by the action of rotating screws. Under the high pressure of the chamber, there is great friction drag between raw material and the worms. It pushes raw material and rolls over outward at the same time. Thus this friction and continuous pressure from the screw the oil is squeezed out from and expelled out through the gaps in the chamber.
The machine crushes and squeezes oil from the mustard seeds without adding any chemicals & Heat. Therefore, the oil produced by the machine is Cold Press, Healthy and Free from any sort of toxins.
Filter Press With Pump
The extracted mustard oil by pressing contains suspended particles (foots).
For improving the quality of edible mustard oil for human use. Double filter press is highly recommended for any mustard oil plant as it removes the foots and also gives a shining effect to the oil. Optionally a Polish filter can be added before final storage to further polish the filtered oil.
We Offer Plate type / Plate & Frame type Filter Presses. The plates are made from Cast Iron, Stainless Steel or Polypropylene material. We can also provide Hydraulic Pull back systems for ease of operation & maintenance.
Bucket Elevator
The Bucket elevator can be used to transport mustard seeds. It’s a compact structure and less room. It can run at a high level and with good seal property. Belt bucket elevator is light and convenient, with easy maintenance and low noise.
We offer a well designed Chain & Belt Type Bucket Elevator manufactured with MS or SS Material. The Buckets can be either of MS, SS or Nylon material.
Screw Conveyor
Screw conveyor is continuous transmission equipment that uses rotation screws to convey raw material without the immunity traction components.
Screw conveyor, MS or SS construction, U-trough type casing with top cover, screw flight welded to pipe and with necessary shaft, hanger bearings etc. complete with drive and all necessary accessories.
Control Panel
A Control Panel is a Centralised Electrical Installation including control elements for all-electric motors. It also consists of start and stop buttons, status lamps, indicating and alarm elements, etc.
