Sesame Oil Production Steps
Sesame Seed Cleaning – To remove soil, stones, grass, and other debris, a series of seed cleaning machines are used to clean sesame seeds.
Sesame Seeds Cooking/Conditioning – Sesame seeds are put into a kettle/cooker that heats the seeds at a high temperature.
Sesame Oil Pressing – The cooked seeds are pressed by a screw oil pressing machines, two times pressing required to get enough of the oil out from sesame seeds. Through each process, the seed has to be lifted back to the top using a lift elevator and a screw conveyor. Finally, the oil goes into a oil tank. The remaining oilcake will be sold as animal feed.
Sesame Oil Filtering and Filling – The oil goes through another machine called an oil filter press machine which will filter out any remaining impurities. The finished oil can now be stored in large tanks. Then, the oil filling machine is used to pour the oil into its bottles and final packaging can be done.
